Safe journey: my trip to St. Johann
Ahrner Wirt is located in the centre of St. Johann directly next to the parish church. It can be very easily reached by bus, train and car.
If you arrive by car
Brenner motorway A22 - St. Johann
Take motorway exit Brixen/Pustertal and travel through the Puster Valley to Bruneck-OST (SS49 - E66). Follow the signs for „Ahrntal“ for 23 km, leaving behind the towns of St. Georgen, Gais, Uttenheim, Mühlen in Taufers, Sand in Taufers as well as Luttach. St. Johann is now in front of you. You can park your car in our own free private car park.
Lienz in East Tyrol (A) - St. Johann
From the Austrian-Italian border, follow the provincial road (SS49-E66) and, after approx. 37 km take the exit Bruneck-OST. Now follow the signs for "Ahrntal" for approx. 25 km, leaving behind the towns of St. Georgen, Gais, Uttenheim, Mühlen in Taufers, Sand in Taufers as well as Luttach. St. Johann is now in front of you. You can park your car in our own free car park.
